Rest In Peace Freddy E. (JerkTV On Youtube)

Freddy 'E' Buhler

I woke up to some REALLY sad news early this morning and I am REALLY hoping it is not true.

Word on the street, Rapper/Comedian Freddy E. Buhler aka JerkTV from Youtube has taken his life.

UPDATE– It was said that his dad confirmed the death of Freddy

Freddy E

I can’t believe Freddy E is dead. I just watched a video with him saying how excited he was for his 22nd birthday and now he’s gone. This only shows you that no matter how happy someone looks on the outside, you’ll never know how they’re how they truly feel until they resort to taking their life.

People keep assuming they know why he killed himself, but unless you resided in his subconscious, you have no idea. I have thought of suicide many times and , I almost committed it. I know now that it doesn’t solve things. People should really stop assuming that a girl was his only reason. And after reading those tweets (which just the thought of bring tears back to my eyes) and watching his final video, you could tell he was serious.

I was introduce to Freddy through Tre' Melvin's 'This Is A Commentary' series on Youtube and have been a fan every since. I guess that it's true what they say about comedians. They almost ALWAYS have the darkest lives and I guess Freddy was no exception.

This is why I preach so hard about mental illness in the black community because it is REAL.As people say, ignorance is bliss. Nobody understands mental health disorders unless you have one. I won't say Freddy was mental ill but there had to be something going on with him that he would even do this to himself. My heart goes out to his family, fans and love ones.

My pen blends the thoughts in my head.

Sadly, these aren't the only sentences facing black men.

They blame bad luck for lack of bucks with their hands outstretched.

They're reaching for change but I only have common sense to lend,

because, knowledge is priceless and being broke is the equivalence of ignorance.

It's far from bliss, it's far from this.

A nation's generation so caught up in affiliation,

lost with no destinations, empty seats at graduations…

Searching for patience feels like I'm searching for the man,

in the red and white sweater and hat with the blue pants and glasses again…

Damn, there I go getting distracted again.

Bad habits and friends seem to mix like affection and gin,

while bullets seem to be the only shots these niggas can bartend.

And we're back in church and it's not even the weekend.

Everything happens for a reason,

I'm just praying God let's me see another four seasons.

Yeah… and I'm praying for you,

as I ridicule this fabricated truth among the youth

that success is only found on a court or in a booth.

As I sit and view this news of this suicidal genocide

that's got us scared of our own kind.

They got one life lost to white lines and jail time.

What good are the eyes if your mind is blind?

What good is the message if you ignore the signs?

You see… I'm just bringing all the facts in.

My words are like a chemical compound,

I'm just trying to get a reaction.
